It was such a nice sunny 2-3 weeks in Stockholm.
Today the weather has turned nicely cold.
But there's no more sun. =(
Perhaps it'd be better in Norway?
To our last BBQ outdoors!

Clarice: You promised you'll play! :)

Role Playing. It's nothing to do with what everyone has in their mind when they see those words.
It's like a talking adventure board game where you can be a character.
It's really quite fun.
I'm an Elf Wizard.
Cast magic spells such as "acid splash" and "ray of frost" on weird creatures that attack me.
I have a club, long sword & long bow.
Martin plans the routes and the adventure and doubles up as a character in the story.
I'm a geek, I know.

Zhi: Thanks! It's so hard to capture the spectacular view with the camera. Thank goodness for Photoshop.
I agree with you! We should all do a shot in the studio. It's be cool! A get together with crazy photos in our gown would be nice too!

When these students graduate from HIGH SCHOOL (Secondary School)
they hire trucks, load their friends on
with music blasting they party through the streets!
Cool!
When trucks meet the spray drinks at each other.
Imagine if I did that for my grad party. Ha

Appetizing. One of those with the sauce you'll wanna lick of the plate. ;)

6th of June 2007, what was I doing?
It's the Swedish National Day.
We went for "Tasty Swweden" (Translated) at Kungstragården.
Yellow and Blue, the colours of Sweden. ;)

Martin & I made some Swedish Bullar! (Cardammon Buns)
They were really chewy and delicious.
The receipe:

150g of butter
5dl of milk
one packet of wet yeast
1-1/2 dl of sugar
2tsp of cardammom
1tsp of salt
Add enough flour to make a nice dough.

Melt the butter, add enough milk to make the mixture finger-warm.
Add this mixture into a mixing bowl with the wet yeast. Mix well.
Add the remaining milk. Mix.
Add sugar,salt,cardammom.
Add the flour until the dough is nice. Mixing the flour in.
Leave to rise for 30minutes.
Roll the dough out. Cut dough up into 1.5 inch strips.
Add cinammon + butter + sugar mixture in the dough strip.
Roll them along into buns.
Leave them to rise for 30minutes.
Preheat the oven at 250degrees.
Bake for 5-8minutes.
It's the receipe behind the ICA Vetemjölk (Flour Packet)
We give this receipe 4 stars!

I was at IQube yesterday. In short, IQube is an incubator who aids entrepreneurs with all the admistrative, sales, marketing mess that they worry about and provide a conducive infrastructure to just focus on your product. Support, that's what all entrepreneurs need! Very well thought and I'm looking forward to see how IQube Singapore turns out.

Johan Staël von Holstein is the founder and CEO of the company.Very inspirational guy. I like his take on life.
We need time to reflect on what goes on.
Is there a better way of doing this?
Is there anything I'm passionate about doing?
Study, work, study work study.
It's a marathon that doesn't end in Singapore.
Perhaps his view on work, is what's missing?
Do we have time to reflect?
When we have too much time, we may dangerously cross the line of being a bum.

I think it's interesting that IQube has specially taken in 10 women entrepreneuers in their incubator. They see a trend that more women are starting companies.
Do women need more support?
I believe women are equally capable.
The supportive touch that IQube proposes definitely would appeal to women entrepreneurs.
Perhaps we're more adverse to taking risks?
IQube lowers that risk barrier.

It's the people behind the idea that matter.
I totally agree.
You meet, impressions stick.
You make it, or you don't.
Something You can't fake.

But I wonder if there are cultural aspects of the decision that has to be taken into consideration?

- Style of presentation
Perhaps if the entrepreneur's style doesn't fit IQube, then it's too bad. IQube may or may not have missed out on a great idea, but I guess the entrepreneur just doesn't fit the bill.

- Lack of Individualism
We say 'Yes' a lot. We don't quite speak up. But an entrepreneur would be different? One who believes in certain values and ideas and will stick to it. Won't let the cultural difference of being Asian and European get in the way of communication.

Exciting observations.
I can't wait to see how things turn out.

I feel truly blessed that I was given the opportunity to experience entrepreneurship the way I have. Ever since I made the decision to go to Stockholm, it has been an eye opener, character development and the richest experience I can ever imagine for someone my age. I love my life.
